Guild Wars 2 is an MMO-RPG developed by ArenaNet. It first launched in August 2012.
This was a team of 3 character artists with a specialty in high res sculpting.
My team was tasked with creating high fidelity sculpts of various armors for rewards or purchase in game.
As the Project Manager of the outsourced team (Mindwalk Studios), I had the following duties:
Facilitated communication and organization between outsourced team (Mindwalk Studios) and developer (ArenaNet) to ensure artistic and scheduling goals were met
Worked with internal team leads to communicate roadblocks and address red flags
Motivated and supported outsourced team to ensure that project goals, milestones and deliverables were achieved
Created high res renders of team's work for use as high quality portfolio and marketing
